Katie was born and raised in Las Vegas, which means she grew up with a certain baseline tolerance for big energy, late nights, and not taking things too seriously. She likes her hair messy, her food spicy, and she could eat pizza every day without complaint. Italy has a permanent place in her heart.

She's been doing hair for over 20 years. She started in salons and eventually realized she's better suited to the go: on-location work, personal connection with clients, variety of environments and people. That instinct has taken her places. Her resume includes working with Jill Biden, The Kid Laroi, Meghan Trainor, Audrina Patridge, and Jewel. She's done Fashion Week in New York for Phillip Lim and the Christian Cowan show in Los Angeles. She's worked Coachella and done production for some of the biggest properties on the Las Vegas Strip, including Caesars, The Venetian, and The Cosmopolitan.

Twenty years in, she still loves what she does. She's easygoing, loyal, a little sarcastic, and most at home around genuine people and good music. Fair warning: if music is playing, there's a good chance she'll end up dancing. She's no longer a late-night person and winds down with frozen yogurt and Young Sheldon, which she offers without apology.

Her dog Benny is her constant companion and, by her own account, basically her best friend. She loves learning new things, good conversations, and people who can laugh and not take life too seriously. That energy comes with her to every wedding morning.
