AIMEE A
makeup artist
Sometimes the only way to break in is to break away. That's exactly what Aimee decided when she left home at 18 to attend the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. She didn't just show up. She used every resource the school had to offer, graduating in under two years with training that ran the full spectrum: beauty, editorial, special effects, and everything in between.
After graduating, Aimee landed in Las Vegas and built her foundation working with Sephora, Inglot, and MAC while simultaneously establishing herself as a freelance artist. That combination of technical rigor from a prestigious program plus the real-world grind of counter work and freelance bookings gave her a range that most artists spend a decade trying to develop.
Bridal work has a particular pull for Aimee. She's a self-described Pinterest Queen with a deep love of family, and she brings both of those qualities to every wedding morning she's part of. There's something about the intimacy of bridal prep, the nerves, the laughter, the moment a bride finally sees herself, that she genuinely loves being present for. She hopes that one day her own daughters will let her do their makeup on their wedding days. No pressure, she says. But she'll absolutely be ready.
When she's not on set or at a wedding, Aimee is the kind of person who can turn a random Tuesday into a craft project. The creative instinct doesn't switch off just because the kit is packed away. It shows up in how she lives, not just how she works.
Her background in production and special effects means she's equally at home on a film set as she is in a bridal suite. She's worked activations, on-set productions, and special events, and she approaches every environment with the same standard: prepared, professional, and ready for whatever the day throws at her.
“Aimee did a great job in making me feel beautiful and FEEL like myself.”
