Zulma has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017, when she graduated from Paul Mitchell Schools. She came to the beauty industry for the creativity, the flexibility, and the people, and almost a decade in, all three have held up.

She's a wife and mother of three, and family is the context for everything she does. Building a career that lets her show up fully for both her clients and her kids has been intentional, and she's proud of the balance she's found. It's shaped how she works: with patience, care, and a genuine investment in the person in front of her.

Her focus is hairstyling, and she loves it. She's continued to develop her technique over the years, learning new skills while staying grounded in the thing that drew her to the work in the first place: the moment a client sees the finished result and feels like themselves again. She wants everyone who sits in her chair to leave feeling confident, refreshed, and cared for.

Outside of work, Zulma is drawn to the outdoors and the calm that comes with it. She loves the ocean, the sound of it, the feeling of being near it, the way it slows everything down. More recently, she's discovered gardening, and she's found something unexpectedly meaningful in it. Learning to care for plants and watching them grow has become both meditative and instructive. Growth takes patience. So does good work.
